The Foundation

Tranquil Transitions Mind and Body Wellness was founded on the belief that tranquility comes from healing not only the body, but the mind and spirit as well. A WHOLElistic approach to a balanced self. We wanted to offer and maintain a place where healing oneself can happen. A place where you can be heard and understood. A safe space where you can explore your own inner knowing and begin to heal your body, mind and spirit. On this foundation and with the drive and desire to facilitate in the healing process, your transition can happen.

TTMBW was founded by Christina in 2018 shortly after completing her training in Massage Therapy at the Arizona School of Integrative Studies. She had a calling to massage therapy from the age of sixteen, and although she did not pursue her training at that time, she would be presented again with the opportunity to pursue her dream. In August of 2017, she began her thirteen month program in Massage Therapy at ASIS. While studying massage, she was introduced to Hypnotherapy while trying to incorporate healing of the mind and body in her skill set. In May of 2019 she began her focus on the Integrative Healing Arts Practitioner Certificate at the Southwestern Institute of Healing Arts. She has completed the Life Coaching program as well as 300 hours towards her certification in Hypnotherapy.

Christina has also completed Continuing Education Credits in Autism Spectrum Disorder, Body and Facial Cupping, Pre and Postnatal Massage, Pediatric Cranial Sacral Therapy and will complete a two day course to further her understanding of Cranial Sacral Therapy in December of 2021.

Hypnosis is an altered state of mind that many of us enter, sometimes several times a day. Daydreaming, reading and even while driving are a few examples. While under hypnosis, the subconscious can be given suggestions to change a behavior or habit that has become part of the person's beliefs or foundation. This can be from internal or external forces. These suggestions are agreed upon between the client and practitioner beforehand. The subconscious would also disregard any suggestions that you would not agree to in a normal waking state. Please refer to the FAQ's page for more information.
